Restless. I haven't been able to sleep the past few nights. I just watched "Fight Club" over the weekend and just like Edward Norton, I feel almost like an insomniac. Actually I just haven't been able to sleep-in in weeks. I'm staying awake at work by drinking Seattle's Best Breakfast Coffee, dark roast blend. I took a nap today right after dinner that Sherry cooked and now I can't sleep at all.
Well Xanga Banga, I just wanted to write that I've just moved back to Chicago. I moved on Saturday from my hometown WheaTon. It's been pretty crazy with all the preparing and financial stuff that not only goes along with buying property for the first time but also because my place is new construction in Chicago. I have to give a shout out to those who helped me move and also to those who came out later to help me unpack and not feel so far away from home. Thank you to my Dad, Sherry, Joe, Ryan, Matt, Anthony, Liezl, Moy, Danielle, Lish, Richard, and Kevin C. It would have been a lot harder if not for yall to help me move, unpack, and setup the place. So thank yous!
I'm pretty much settled in. I've actually been doing home improvements every day of the week. There's always something to do. I just got HDTV with a DVR which i think is neat. I set it to record the Office and Bulls games, and also Sherry's Gilmore Girls... so we'll never miss an episode. HomeDepot delivered my washer/dryer and it was a biatch to install but it works great now. Thanks to Matt again for helping me install it. Also got my closet designs from homedepot, now im waiting for a couple of weeks before they have everything ready for the install. I'm looking to get ceiling fans, more lighting and blinds in the next couple of months. Man... $$$. But Everything is going well. I love Chicago and everything is just so near. It's just so so accessible, for work and everything else. There are a bunch of new places opening up nearby, not like the North Avenue stores were really that far in the first place, but it'll be even more accessible.
So snowboarding season is upon us and while we get our equipment ready, please pray for me and snow.
Special thanks to my baby for helping me out around the house with everything
Pictures hopefully to come soon. Peace out xanga playa +
